This Double IPA is a hybrid of the very first Lucid, the Lucid Manatee, and the Lucid Pelican, taking the best of both beers, resulting in a crafty chimera sure to please! This beer features raw wheat and millet along with both flaked oats and flaked wheat, resulting in a delicious, full-bodied IPA.

Received as an extra in a trade.
A - Poured into my Duvel a nice super murky/turbid golden milkshake with a super creamy two finger head that fades super slowly to leave a thick, dense blanket.
S - Aromas of creamy citrus, almost orange creamsicle like thanks to oats or flour or whatever they're using to haze this beer up. Flashes of tropical hops and tutti frutti aromas galore. Little bit of spicy hops on the finish, earthy as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Much more of those spicy earthy hops (realistically Mosaic). Citrus is nice and pleasant mixture of juicy and pithy with a little bit of candied orange as well going on. As it warms the earthy spicy notes fade and a sweeter papaya like tropical fruit emerges.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body is medium and it's creamy. Still though it comes as a thin and a bit odd against the tongue. Flour? No alcohol though.
O - Overall this was a rather solid DIPA. Great appearance, solid nose and taste. Mouth was a bit on the weirder side but didn't exactly ruin the beer. ABV was hidden quite nicely too.
