Bottled: Feb 2017
Appearance: Hazy yellow body with a bone white head that quickly dwindles down to nothing.
Aroma: full of juicy peach flesh, peach skins, and bright Meyer lemon sourness. These peaches smell authentic.
Taste: Flavor is much the same. Sourness of a 4.5 out of 10; which is really at the perfect level to allow the fruit to be the star of the show and there is plenty of sourness to balance the massive amount of peaches present in the flavor.
Mouthfeel: light bodied with moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish that really makes this beer an extremely drinkable sour.
Overall: Never heard of Powder Keg Brewing Company. Then in comes Palisades Reunion all humble and shit...
This beer is another example of why Colorado is and always will be a beer mecca in America. Never heard of this brewery and they just killed this peach American wild ale. It is just like Fou Foune without the Cantillion signature funk and way more peaches. This beer is a serious sleeper beer.

Palisade Reunion
Poured gently at 43°F from a 750ml bottle (no date) into a tulip. Allowed to warm up to 45°F before reviewing. Consumed on 19Nov16.
SMELL: Grand waves of sweet peaches are bolstered by mild sour green apple aromas, subtle white grape, pear, earthy yeast, white bread, and honey aromas along with hints of tobacco.
4.5 out of 5
TASTE: Strong flavors of peaches and mild flavors of green apple open the taste theatrical with a sweet and sour juiciness. A mild earthiness quickly emerges from yeast presence of the beer. Subtle flavors of white grapes and pears follow to give a slight boost to the fruitiness. Subtle white bread and honey flavors trail as the tartness of the brew finally grows a little stronger. The profile closes hints of tobacco as all previous flavors maintain.
4.25 out of 5
NOTE: This was a great sour that was missing some aspects. The wild and natural elements were lacking in this. The tartness was pretty low, too. This did not taste barrel-aged, but it definitely would have benefited from it. Powdered Keg did a wonderful job with the peaches in this. It was a juicy beer that I wished had more funk to it.

Got one as an extra from a very generous soul when I was visiting Denver last week. Looks, smells and tastes exactly like someone threw a pound of very-slightly under ripe peaches into a juicer with the skin on. Pours opaque and bright gold (pretty much how you'd expect peach juice to look). I could smell this beer as soon as I popped the bottle open. The aroma is tons of tart freshly sliced peaches and the taste follows suit with a nice (not enamel ripping) sour bite and then maybe a little bit of biscuit-y-ness to it as well. Has a pretty solid body (contributes to the illusion that I'm drinking straight fruit juice) and a balanced finish. One of the best (maybe the best?) stone fruited sour I've ever had. Incredible.

Cheesy funktastic beer. Loads of Peaches. Could use a touch more carb.
