British caramel and roasted malts gives this smooth drinking brew its deep ehu or reddish amber color and nutty, toffee-like finish. Ehu Ale offers a fuller flavor and is a very approachable and refreshing beer that bridges lighter and darker styles.

On tap at Sam Choys in Honolulu, HI.

Poured a deeper orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, roast, and light citrus. Tastes of caramel, roast, citrus, and nutty. Light lacing left on the glass. I was getting some butteriness in both the aromas and tastes.

Beer poured a dark mahagoney with red/gold highlights. Small head with light carbonation. An attractive beer.

Somewhat sweet smelling. Taste had a light hops bitterness at the end with some sweetness throughout. There was an unusual aftertaste that I couldn't quite place and didn't find very pleasant.

Quite a light mouthfeel that was smooth. Overall, not a beer that I would want to have too many.
