My wife was disappointed with this beer even though she likes Hawaiian beer normally. I, on the other hand, thought it’s not bad at all, on the contrary much better than your average lager. I didn’t find any fault in it, it had a well-balanced malty body (but not too sweet), was hoppy enough to be refreshing and interesting - and it didn’t have any foul aftertaste that American lagers quite often do.
Not sure if I would seek it out to deink it again, but was quite pleased with it for the moment.

Bought a 6-pack from Foodland $7.88
Light mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Clear golden color
Some sweet malt taste, a little bitterness
Overall just ok. Taste more like a macrobrew. Nothing special to justify a premium price. Wouldn’t buy again.

A - Clear, golden, draught topped with a heady, two fingers of white stuff
S - Lemony with green grass, very floral
T - Big wheat flavor which is interesting, some hop bitterness, hidden fruits, could be mild grapefruit. Now here's the kicker... pinto beans, I swear to God I taste bold pinto beans must be the malts
M - Medium body brew, with strong carbonation, a good match with the peculiar flavor profile
Overall this beer catches me off guard, I do not believe there is wheat used in the brewing process, yet there I taste it, I doubt beans of any kind are used either but then again a main flavor here is just that. Perhaps my palate is way off kilter, I just got over a weird flu-like sickness I got while visiting in Timor Leste
