This IPA is designed to have a domino effect on your palate. Everything you want in an IPA gracefully falls in place as the English caramel malts provide a superb malt backbone. From first sip to last your palate will be taken over by resinous, piney, herbal and citrusy hop notes as the Magnum, nugget, Chinook, cascade and first gold hops all come together to convert any level of craft lover into a fan of this one. 7% ABV 100 IBUs

this is easily one of the best india pale ales made in colorado right now, or maybe ever. its fantastic, and if you havent had it yet, make sure you get over to this place and have a few, you will not regret it. perfect mix of fresh, well timed hop additions of northwest type stuff and more tropical varietals, its dynamic and layered and complete, and has a nice malt backbone thats copper to red in color, but dry and not weighty with caramel sweetness as per usual. there must be some amarillo in here, or something chemically similar, as i am getting real familiar with its late kettle influence on beers, and this has that bright fruitiness. a little more carbonation than we are used to in the style keeps it refreshing and easier drinking. the abv is exactly where i like it to be in the style, and the hops in this are memorable. as good an ipa as our city has to drink right now, i mean that. go find out for yourself.
