One of our most popular brews this one is the perfect balance of English style maltiness and an American influenced hop bill. While the caramel malts add a rich sweetness and beautiful deep color the hops stand out giving just enough earthy and citrus bitterness to the brew to provide a slight crispness making it easy to drink on any given day. 5% ABV 54 IBUs

as the description says, this is a real nice mix of english and american style red beers. its definitely got the english grain complexion, sweet malty and rich, with a lot of body and a creamy feel. the hops are decidedly american, with a lot more citrus happening than the usual english type balancing bitterness, and a yeast thats more neutral than english as i know them. the hops for me are what makes this one, its bright enough to cut the more sturdy grain base, but never gets too out of proportion. the citrus helps it finish a little cleaner too, notes of fresh orange and coffee cake as it finishes, classic red malt throughout, and a very low abv. its cool to know that for all the off the wall crazy creative stuff these guys do, that they can still nail down a real basic beer style like this one with such precision. a fantastic take on an often underwhelming style, fluffy on the palate and drinkable for miles. easily one of the best never breweries in town.
