12 oz can gift from friend 3 weeks from bottle date. . Nice crafted beer. Lots of IPA body for a session low abv type beer. Aroma seems to take on a floral piney character and at the same time the taste is more tropical papaya mango type dank.

Another really beautiful addition to The CANQuest (tm) with its wild graphics.
From the CAN: "Don't Look Back"; "Inspired by the Orphic bone tablets, which explore the dichotomous nature of life and death, our Bone Tablet series reveals the many sides of the IPA. Peace.War.Truth.Lie. explores the style's oft-neglected delicate side. Whether you're having one or enjoying for a session, Peace.War.Truth.Lie. is a refreshing beer with an abundance of tropical fruit and citrus character."; Art by S. Parker.
I was a little startled on the Crack! as I got some foaming action coming through the vent. I stepped back and allowed it to calm before CANmencing a gentle Glug, figuring that if it was already foaming, the potential for an unCANtrollable pour existed. I still produced a finger of foamy, bone-white head that dissipated rather quickly. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose had an unusual herbal scent, more like a cocktail garnish than a beer. Hmmm. It smelled like sage, lavender, Herbes de Provence, you get the idea. Mouthfeel was medium to full with a good bit of carbonation. The taste was quite lemony and biscuity and once again, I was thinking of lemon biscotti from Enrico's Biscotti in Pittsburgh. Mmm. Finish had a powerfully astringent dryness. I felt like my tongue & throat had been coated in aspirin. Wow! Man, if this is what they do for a Session IPA, then I CAN't wait to indulge in their AIPA & DIPA.

12 oz can.
Appearance: Hazy golden-apricot color, with a thin, weak head.
Aroma: herbal and light citrus hopping with bready malts.
Taste: More fruity and less malty than the nose. Citrus, apple and pineapple notes dominate.
Feel: light with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: this session IPA, like many others of this ilk, drinks and tastes like an APA. This version has an attractive and distinct hop mix producing a nice hint of pineapple.

Appearance: Hazy gold color
Smell: Citrus, pineapple and a touch of pine in the smell
Taste: A lot like the nose. When it's really fresh you'd almost think you were drinking Transmigration. Minimal malt
Feel: Pretty light with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I've tended to be disappointed with session IPAs, but this one has everything I want.
