From the growler into the stunning hotel plastic cup, it pours amber with a brief head fading quickly to a ring around the faux crystal cup. Lots of ctrus in the nose, amazing flavor in the mouth. Wow! Experiment proves the theorem was good, move to production!

In all honesty, I prefer this over Tropicalia in terms of quality southern IPAs.
Low malt presence in both the aroma and flavor.
Only knock is I get too much alcohol in the aroma, which covers up a lot of the hop characteristics.
Nice dry finish that finishes clean on the palate.
Could be better with less alcohol and more hop qualities, but still a solid IPA.

Appearance: light straw colored, pretty clear
Smell: Smells amazing, lots of orange, tropical fruit, and some lemongrass
Taste: Like the nose. A touch more bitter than most Orpheus IPAs, but still pleasant. Not a whole lot of malt to speak of.
Feel: Light and dry
Overall: Whatever the experiment was, it worked!

Had this at Orpheus brewing. It is my new favorite. Transmigration of souls is close behind. Definitely a must try. Very juicy and sweet on the front end with a slight bitter finish. Overall it makes for very enjoyable IPA.
