12oz can from Hop City (Atlanta, GA). 2.39. Canned 2/14/18. Served in an Orpheus snifter. Enjoyed 4/19/18.

Pours a soft, dull opaque amber with a little less than a half finger of pale head. The bubbles crackle away rather quickly without leaving much in their wake.

Aromas of some light stone fruit, caramel and a good bit of funk.

Tastes of sour stone fruit, earthy funk and honey wheat. Goes down with an ease that belies the 9.0% abv.

Medium feel with light carbonation. Dull sour stone fruit in the aftertaste.

More solid work from Orpheus. Sykophantes Blanc is quite good. A wee bit dangerous with how smooth it is despite nearing double digit alcohol content.

12oz can. 02.14.18,
Somewhat murky amber with white ring of head and no lacing.
Aroma is heavy Brett with a lot of graham cracker and herbal grassiness.
Flavor is complex with sourness upfront with a heavy dose of graham cracker and apricot in the finish with a bit more sourness there.
Feel is light-medium body with dry finish and high carbonation throughout.
A really nice sour beer — usually not something I would go for — so good call Erinn!

Pours an effervescent & slightly hazed amber with a finger of rapidly falling cream colored head. No head retention & lacing

S: Orchard fruit, fades quickly

T: Pears, honey dryness, a little fig, slight sourness up front. Sourness builds as this warms, a little white grape, oaky dryness, a little tartness as well. Finishes dry, a little tart, a little sour, some fig & pear

MF: Fairly full-bodied, slight carbonation

Pretty good offering, ABV is well disguised, still drinks great
