Pours a nice light chilled hazed pale yellow with a big fluffy white head that does lace well.

Aroma is light bready or more like cracker malts light hops grassy herbal mixture. It is fairly clean though.

Taste is like the nose light malt base sprinkled with hops and peppiness. Mostly herbal on the palate with some lingering earthy notes. Nice crisp easy drinking brew easily crushed I guess like the can says. Might not be the best American German Pilsner but its easy enough to throw back with no real negatives.

Mouthfeel is light and crisp can feel the carbonation tingling your tongue.

Overall not great but not bad either might be a good choice on a hot Georgia day.

Appearance: Clear pale gold. Fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Herbal with a hint of citrus.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Herbal and moderately bitter. Low sweetness.
Palate: Semi-dry, medium length finish. Slightly bitter.

Nice, drinkable pilsner. Mandarina Bavaria hops gives a slight citrus note. Hallertauer Mittelfruh hops give it a the traditional herbal/spicy characteristics. Detected a slight bubblegum note as well. Call this a German Pils with an American tilt. Orpheus is better known for its hoppy ales, sour ales and barrel aged beers.
