Brownish red cloudy pour, beige pinky fingers sized head. Sweet bursts forth with sweet and tart cherry with bright oak and bretty funk. Taste is cherry all the way for 3/4 of the sip, almost juicy within the sourness shining brightly, then the oak and lighthearted funk set in. Feel is bright, sour, medium-light bodied, smooth in a cool way. Simpler but striking.

Deep sanguine crimson, thin layer of spotty foam. Rich vinous aroma, reminds me of Danish cherry wine or Schaerbeek cherries. The fruit is front and center, rich and vinous flavor, intense and punchy character from the Serbian Oblacinska cherries. Medium bodied with a light tartness, dry finish, mild cereal grains, peripheral funk. Overall it’s impressive and a nice showcase of this rich cherry varietal.

Released May 2022; drank 7/20/22 @ the Yarchives.
Murky red/purple appearance.
An even pour yielded a minimal off-white head; minimal lace.
Cherry & mild oak notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cherry & oak flavors; MILD tartness but it's not sour at all.
Almost a straight up fruit beer; I enjoyed this!

Really hard to believe this "lambic" is from down the street in Atlanta. Pours a rich reddish purple, decent lasting head. Aroma is huge cherry, closer to actual Belgian kriek character than from any other American version I've run across. Cherry steals the show, but a little bit of funk comes out. Flavor is more balanced between cherry and the base beer. Very round acidity. If you handed this to me blind and told me it was a small batch 3F fruit project I wouldn't question it. I could be accused of being an Orpheus fanboy, but this is another level for them!
