16 oz can, unsure of the date but sometime in late 2020, into wide mouthed glass.
Has a really rich burgundy-cherry color with a fleeting pink head. A fingernail remains and no lace is left behind.
I get aromas of pineapples and cherries, in their natural form, from the can. There is no artificial sweetness here that I can detect. From the glass I get mostly grainy aromas and slight booze. Getting more of the pineapple and cherry from the can. A kind of upside down cake-like vibe.
Flavor is definitely 7 up cake and pineapple upside down cake. Cherries and stringy pineapple in abundance at the back of the throat. I don't like this as much as original (pineapple) Over and Over and Over, but this is still fine with me. Remnants of moist yellow cake and cherry skin remain. I am missing the Dole Whip aspect of the original O&O&O.
Feel is perfectly fine for this beer, it's wet and carbonated and slightly acidic, no alcohol anywhere whatsoever, nothing out of bounds, and nothing extra.
Overall, a tasty little sour treat, you would never guess it was 7.5%. Drinks like a 4% Berliner. It's enjoyable which I imagine would be compounded on a hot day. Tasty bugger, not as good as the original O&O&O. Looking forward to the rest of the 4 pack.
