Circularity Strawberry Smoothie IPA

From a 4 pack of 16 oz cans, limited release. NOT the same as the Circularity Strawberry Berliner-Weiss. Into a Perfect Pint glass, it’s a very hazy pale pink color with a small white head that sticks around for a while. Minimal to moderate carbonation. Nose of artificial strawberry like strawberry Jello or a strawberry Dreamsicle. In the mouth it’s tart and crisp, a sensation bolstered by a crisp mouth-feel. Very low hops and alcohol presence; slight dry hoppiness on the finish. The taste isn’t bad but it’s not special in any particular way. This is my first Orpheus beer but based on their website, they like to churn out vast varieties of specialty beers. This one is certainly a solid “limited release” type of beer but I see no reason to seek it out other than sheer curiosity at its novelty. Or said differently, what a wonderful time to be alive in the world of craft beer.
