I enjoyed this on tap at Mexitaly, served chilled in a pint glass.
The ale appears lightly hazed medium dark brown with head that falls to a ring of tiny beads. The smell has a caramel and light bready scent with some diacetyl and subtle dried fruit aroma with nice toasted grain smell. The feel is moderately full with medium carbonation and moderately sweet texture with balance of bitterness and semi-dry finish with light alcohol warmth.
The taste has a german malt character with lightly sweet and toastd with caramel quality and munich taste with a woody/spicy hop taste in the middle and mild yeast quality with slightly bitter finish with gentle alcohol element in the back but mostly dry.
This is a very good alt...it gets better as it warms slightly w/ German malt in the taste.
