I enjoyed this on tap at Mexitaly, served in a pint.
The color is a dark golden shade with amber highlights and thin white head with carbonation visible. The smell has a strong yeast aroma with fruity ester and light spice with subtle pear like scent. The smell has a very nice balance medium body with light sweet entry followed by subtle hop bitterness and semi-high carbonation with mostly dry crisp finish.
The flavors of yeast are evident in the intial taste with mild pepper quality and gentle hop bitterness in taste with slightl malt sweetness supporting and light herbal hop quality with semi-dry finish with grainy residual flavor. The flavor of this ale is good with a decent drinkability level for the style with subtle spice level and relatively dry finish.
