From notes 8/31/16: Pours a crystal clear gold producing less than 2 fingers of foamy, rapidly fading, white head that leaves only a few motes and wisps of lace. Aroma is crisp, yeasty, cracker malt, clean grains, some lemon and light grassy hops. Taste is lager yeast, cereal, pale and cracker malt, predominately grassy backed by lemon hops in a bittersweet finish that gravitates to a bitter, yeast and grain short-lived aftertaste.

Pours a clear golden color with a foamy head. Aroma is floral with light fruit, and grassy. Taste of light fruits, bit of citrus and floral. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, quite smooth, clean and refreshing. Beer probably goes best with a BBQ.

Buddy Nick came over with a mixed pack. Handed me this as he didn't care for the other. Thanks man even though I think this may be a touch dated.
Look - Deeper golden with a finger and a half of soapy white head. Moderate carbonation on the read. Low stick upon a finished pint.
Smell - That trademark grassy scent with a touch of soap. The soap seems to be a common occurrence in SA summer variety packs from memory.
Taste - Grassy and refreshing with a sweet, almost honey like hop profile. Low levels of malt keep a decent balance.
Feel - Bubbly and light to medium bodied. Swallows crisp and clean with a touch of bitterness.
Overall - Solid, easy drinking brew without frills. Not much to say here but I could pound these indefinitely without having to think much about it. Seems a few more SA brews may be coming my way tonight so I'll review 'em all.

Poured into a lager glass.
The appearance was a soft burnt orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head that swiftly died off. Some light messy lace ran here and there and that slid right on into the beer.
The aroma had some mineral sweet water playing with a little bit of earthiness and grassiness. Light bready malts cleanly escaped through the blend.
The flavor was moderately sweet and wrapped it all together fairly nice. Moderately sweet sort of bready aftertaste with a touch of soap.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Semi-smooth sort of bready finish.
Overall, it actually fits the style and would be a decent one with some food which might help to cover up some of that "soapiness" in the aftertaste.
