On-tap in the American section of Epoct’s World Showcase during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, served in a 12oz. plastic cup. I feel fortunate that gunnerman added this beer, because I don’t think I would have known the beer was available if I hadn’t known about it already. I also feel fortunate that my vacation had me at Epcot while this beer was available.

A: The beer is a dark brown color, with a thin tan head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace.

S: The smell is smoky and hoppy with a little coffee and caramelized malt. It seemed a little different for the style, despite having the typical components.

T: The flavor is very hoppy for a porter and has that distinct Sam Adams hops signature along with a little bit of smoke, dark fruit, coffee & caramelized malt.

M: Very crisp & smooth, medium carbonation, medium body, slightly sticky finish.

D: Tasty and goes down easy, light for the style and a good beer to stick with. The only problem with this beer is its very limited availability.

Served at Epcot Center in Disney World to ring in the 11th anniversary of the Food and Wine festival. Poured a dark black in appearance with a nice two finger head that left heavy sticky lace on the mug. Smell was of fresh malts with some roasted nuts. This brew had a good roasted flavor and some nice hints of fresh bread and a good bit of hop bitterness; very tasty and a good find.
