Reviewing this beer from memory. My twenty third brew reviewed from these guys. Like most beers from Boston Beer Company, also known as Sam Adams, this is just ok.

While I prefer Sam's New England IPA, this is a very good beer even though I bought it by mistake! Great summer beer with big hoppy taste and fruit flavor. Crisp finish.

Poured from a can into a nonic pint.
Pours a fairly cloudy orange gold. Decent head and lacing.
Compared with many APA's this brew delivers plenty of aroma and flavor including some solid hopping, although the malt and fruit flavors and aromas are muddled as heck.
Good mouthfeel and carbonation. Very drinkable.
Overall, a decent APA, but the flavors are somewhat vague.

12 oz can.
This is a bold APA with all the complexity expected from an unfiltered ale.
There is plenty of bready malt in the aroma but this is mostly hidden in the flavor.
Medium body with medium+ carbonation.

An excellent NE pale ale. Could be a session choice.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is slighly hazy gold, near opaque, head is brighter white - made up of fine to small bubbles, good dense quality with nice lacing on the glass sides.
Smell seems to not have held up great as it appears aged, heavy peach and pineapple, hints of biscuit and wheat malt.
Taste is lighter on the peach and pineapple, but still quite heavily fruity hops, some more herbal and grassy notes, then light toasted and biscuit like malt flavors.
Mouthfeel is low to moderate carbonation, light sweetnes, fairly bitter for the style but makes sense for the age.
Overall a like the lingering flavors but the initial heavy peach/pineapple is a bit off putting. It is past its best buy date.
