This decent little brew from a collaboration between Sam Adams and
Jungle Jim's pours a nice clear golden with a quickly dissipating head of
white foam that settles to a thin subtle ring with scant lacing. Nose of
sweet honey malts, light breaded malts, and subtle herbal hops.
Flavors lightly exceed the nose with wildflower honey notes over
a light bed of breaded malts and subtle herbal hops with
light touches of melon and white grape. Mouth feel is
medium body, low carbonation, drinks more like an
ale, and a sweet malty finish.
Flavors are very good on this brew, but the mouthfeel
and look is lack luster from other Sam offerings, that
said it is a SOLID brew in taste and all in all that is what
matters most. A fine maibock style malt bomb.
Cheers
