Served on tap at Stadium Sports Bar & Grill at Foxwoods casino. The server told me this was a beer Sam Adams brewed specially for this restaurant. No other info was given and it was a pretty standard ale that seems to fit in the amber ale category.
The beer pours a clear copper color with a very good head and lacing. Aroma has some nice ale fruitiness, with just a tad of hops. Taste is very simple, and can be summed up as a smooth, carmelly malt flavor and decent bitterness. It has a very standard ale flavor but that is a good thing here. Mouthfeel has a medium body with a clean finish with nothing really lingering. Drinkability is very good, as this is just a simple ale.
Overall, I was pretty happy with this beer. It was the best beer on the menu and this was a good spot to eat at the casino.
