I had this beer at the Sam Adams Octoberfest 2009.
Poured from the tap into a Sam Adams Octoberfest mug.
The color is a deep, dark amber with a little head but no lacing.
The smell is fruity with some fresh apple flavor and some pear hint as well. Is a bit spicy but dry at the same time.
The taste is sweet with more fruity flavors and some nice caramel malt flavor. A real spicey bitterness that rounds out the flavors and does a number on your taste buds.
The feel is a bit light. Is a bit of a rough
