Smells super sweet, weak flavour but pretty well rounded. Not very "IPA" as far as bitterness or sharp citrus, so that's a plus in my book.

You have to rate the beer for what it is, it's a session IPA. Not meant to be and over the top style IPA. It's great to be able to drink more than a couple of these!

A cloudy yellow look with a citrus, wheat, and grass aroma. Has a bitter hoppy taste. A bit of a bitter finish. A decently drinkable beer.

This IPA is relatively easy to drink, sitting at just 4.7%. It pours a hazy blonde with a whitish head. The nose seems to have notes of citrus, which is somewhat present in the flavor. The backend of the taste morphs into a watery flavor before a faint taste of bitterness attempts to clear the palate. It's not bad, especially on a hot day. However, this is not anywhere near the best example of an IPA out there.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is gold, slight haze, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents 1 finger thick, head holds well with a solid top plenty of lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is neutral grain, grassy and herbal hop notes, some light citrus.
Taste is similar with more citrus: malt is neutral with light biscuit, hops are herbal, grassy, light grapefruit and citrus pith.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness, lower sweetness; lingering typical session ipa dryness.
Overall a neutral, underwhelming session ipa: hops and malt are more neutral in flavor and aroma, drying mouthfeel.

I think this is a really exceptional summer beer. You will taste the following flavors: lime, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, hops. It’s really much different than anything Sam Adams has made which is why some people might not like it. I like it because I work with mango in my copper buddy :)

This was a beer that I drank. Kinda floral I guess. Bland but easy to drink and not entirely flavorless. Eh. More eh. Seems like it was designed in a laboratory... and it probably was. It's an IPA for people who like flowers but don't like IPAs
Cheers!

Bottle into a pint glass. The Beach Session will take place from the balcony overlooking the beach because I'm not taking glass to the beach. Pours a deep straw/light golden in color with a fleeting cap of whitish foam. Touch of haze. Aroma of light hops, touch of tropical fruit and some lemongrass notes. Taste is flat and muddled with some nondescript notes and a bland body. The feel is there, not thin, but not much for identifiable aspects. Little to no bitterness on the finish. Overall this beer lacks the 'brightness' I might expect from a self proclaimed 'session ipa' as weird as that is on the surface.
Oddly, this IPA was the oldest offering in the Summer Breeze mix pack or perhaps had the shortest best by date. Either way it may be past it's prime already.

From a 12 oz. bottle with a snip-off date of July 2022. Sampled June 4, 2022.
It is a golden colored pour with a soft, silky ivory head that laces as it fades.
The aroma is herbal with characters of sage and rosemary along with pink grapefruit and a lower profile breaded malt sensation.
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste starts sweet but those herbal and tropical flavors really jump forward and become the beer. It is decent enough but not really my kind of thing.
