Every time I go to JP, I walk away with these Brewery exclusives. Just in time for the holidays and vacation, the Getaway Wheat is the perfect beer for your get togethers. It boasts a brilliant straw-gold color and a frothy almost 2 inch white head. Wheat and grain aromas fill your nostrils and the taste is a lot of the same. It is not too complex, but gives off a zesty lemon and piney taste from the West Coast hops. The way I see this beer is you have been drinking Old Fezziwig all night and you want something light, clean and crisp to break up the spiciness of the Old Man.
