Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy golden-orange color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving lots of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a grapefruit and pine aroma mixed with herbal hops and some bready flavors. Along with these smells comes a bit of dough and a bit of cracker.
Taste – The taste starts out with a bready malt and a light tangerine and orange flavor mixed with a rather decently strong pine and grapefruit hop flavor. As the taste advances some flavors of an herbal hop and a bit of melon and herb come to the tongue. Toward the end there is a little bit graininess and a touch of hay, leaving one with a slightly more dank, none super citrusy, but easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. Decent for the tastes and the abv. and one that is a rather easy drinker.
Overall - A none super citrusy new England with a rather easy drinking taste and feel.

A: hazy; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a very thin cap; OK lacing;
S: pineapple and lemon;
T: orange, pineapple and lemon up front; the orange fades by the middle; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: although this is a very hoppy beer, the hops and malt are more balanced than most other SIPAs;
