Light passes the otherwise dark brown color. Moderate head which leaves a smattering of spots.
Brewed coffee smell.
Strong fresh brewed coffee presence up front. This dominates the entire tasting. The body is thin for the style, closer to a Brown Ale. The carbonation is appropriate. I do not get any chocolate, or even any malt to the flavor. If you like coffee and only coffee, this will be your beer. If you're looking for something even modestly complex, choose something else.
