On tap in the Boston private taproom
Pours a dark reddish brown. Nice light tan head. Good lacing. Great head retention. Smells roasty and sweet. Nice chocolatey aroma. No ginger on the nose at all. Tastes roasty and sweet. Touch of ginger at the end of the sip. as it warms the ginger comes out. Very nice balance of flavours.
Good mouthfeel. Overall very nice offering. I hope Sam Adams puts this one in to regular rotation.
