"Julian Edel-Brau Lager is bold yet easy-drinking, brewed in tribute to grit, drive, and never backing down. This deep amber lager balances toasted bread crust and caramel malt with a subtle herbal hop character for a smooth, creamy sip. Malt-forward with a crisp, dry finish, it’s a beer that proves greatness is earned."

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear deep amber color with a huge head of fluffy off-white head. The head has an incredible level of retention, fading very slowly over time and leaving tons of heavy, streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is mix of bready, sweet, and light hop. There is a lightly toasted breadcrumb smell mixed with a light caramel and harvest fruit smell of pear and apple. Along with these comes notes of a pine and earthy hop, as well as a touch of pepper.
Taste – the taste begins with a malty lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with notes of pine and some light herbal hop. At the same time there is a note of caramel and toffee as well as a touch of cherry and pear. The sweet is very light, and as the taste advances, it gets even lighter. Toward the end of the taste transition, the hop increases a touch, all while a note of white pepper and graininess join in, leaving one with a rather smooth, lightly hopped, lager taste to linger.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium with a carbonation level that is more moderate.
Overall – A pretty nice drinker overall.
