Year-round: Cans and Draft
A totally bitchin' West Coast-inspired IPA hop-bursted with a ton of Amarillo, Denali, Equinox and experimental hops. Citrus hop flavors mix with a piney and juicy hop-bomb of a nose. Part west-coast, 100% Austin. It's like goin' back to Cali, Cali, Cali.
Malts: Czech Pilsner, Munich, Flaked Maize, Crystal 45L
Hops: Amarillo, Equinox, Denali, CTZ, Experimental (rotating)
Yeast: IPA Yeast

Pours a foggy orange with a finger of white foam. Head retention is okay. Aroma is tangerine, papaya, mango, lemondrop, and . Flavor profile is tangerine, lemon drop, papaya, and mango with a little bready malt just beyond. Mouth feel is a little fuzzy with a soft texture. Overall, fruit puree with lemon drop craft a soft and delightful IPA.

12 fl oz green can:
7.1% ABV. 75 IBUs. Dry-hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Equinox, Denali, and an experimental hop. "IPA."
APPEARANCE: Vibrant copper body. Frothy off-white head - ~7cm in height.
AROMA: Citrus creamsicle, honey-like sweetness, pale malts, floral and nectary hop notes, tangerine peel, orange zest.
TASTE: Matches the aroma. Blooming citrus creamsicle buoyed by pale malt sweetness. Honey-like sweetness emerges too along with complementary nectary and floral hop notes. Citrusy without tasting/feeling sharp or acidic. Not so much zesty or citrus peel-redolent as it is juicy. Mellow and approachable for its ABV, but it does lack hop pungency and fails to show off Amarillo's resinous character. To my tastes, it clings more to Citra's citrus and Equinox/Denali's fruitiness without hitting too hard on tropical fruits.
Side note: this beer's label clearly calls the hop "Equinox" and the canned on date is 04/17/19...I thought everyone had to switch to "Ekuanot?"
TEXTURE: Smooth, creamy, coating, wet, medium-bodied, somewhat refreshing - though it does have a bit of unwelcome alcohol warmth despite its scant 7.1% ABV.
OVERALL: A drinkable juicy IPA with a nice citrusy hop profile, though it fails to stand out amongst the myriad offerings in the notoriously oversaturated style. I'd much sooner buy Racer 5 IPA, Sculpin, Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, or the many superior and more cost effective regional/local expressions of the style. More concomitant bitterness and hop pungency are needed to bring this ale to a competitive level.

Decent IPA. Works wells with the good menu. Fantastic views of lake Travis from the brewery deck

Something funky with this one. Not bad, but it’s different.
Another “modern” named beer. Enough already.
