For those hop heads who wish to stay forever juicy, the 450 North brewery has found that illusive and highly coveted fountain of juice. Let's just hope that they can keep these sudsy juices flowing.
Packed with Citra, Amarillo, El Dorado and Vic Secret hops, Fountain of Juice pours a turbid light taupe with a dense cottony froth. Highly aromatic with citronella, tangy orchard and vinous scents and an herbal bouquet, the hazy imperial IPA latches onto the tongue with pastry, cereal and honeysuckle in a first bready sweet introduction.
But the fruits unfold on the middle palate with a tangy citrus taste of slightly under ripened orange, white grapefruit and lemon before following closely behind with the tropical succulence of lychee, pineapple, kiwi and papaya. With a slight wine-like tartness, white grape and honeydew trail into a sharply decisive grassiness of chive, cedar, sassafras, fresh cut grass, fresh pine in a peppery punch of vegetation.
Slightly arugula-like, the medium full bodied beer trends spicy and bitter like gin-heavy tonics along with the unadulturated taste and texture of chlorophyl and sharply green tannins. Just shy of drinking a salad, the beer trails into a medium long aftertaste of grapefruit rinds, grass clippings and bitter resins. Maybe they think that vitamin K is also a big part of living forever.

Slight wheat taste takes away any juiciness. A miss on a NEIPA for me.

Dark straw pour with a decent white head and light lacing. Mild citrus on the nose, nothing overpowering. Citrusy hop flavor with a slight pineapple flavor profile. Not a bad beer, just nothing I'd seek out again.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on January 8, 2019. Brewed with Citra, Amarillo, El Dorado and Vic Secret hops. Hazy IPA with subtle fruit flavors and aromas.

Very hazy yellow color with a dense white head, the nose has loads of citrus aromas (juicy tangerine, pineapple), and there’s some more exotic, herbal notes as well - maybe guava?
The tangerine and pineapple flavors are very forward, and the exotic flavor I’m identifying as guava is also very prominent. Really nice.
The mouthfeel, though, is a bit thin. If it was more substantial, this would be substantially better, IMHO. Still a nice juicy hop bomb.
