Drinking Flagship Wee Heavy at The Gate on 5th Ave in Brooklyn. Never had this but I love a wee heavy but not loving this. In fairness, this kicked the keg so maybe that was it. My gripe is that it tastes burnt. Very bitter burnt. Disappointing but at least the pint was on the house.

L: Dark brown almost black tint to it. Some head retnetion.
S: Some caramel and smoky, burnt notes.
T: Taste follows the aroma but more pronounced. Not too sweet. True to style.
F: Full bodied, medium carbonation.
O: A nice true to style wee heavy. Quickly becoming one of my favorite styles. Hope to see this again.
