The newest version of our NEIPA Swamp Tings is hazy and medium bodied. Huge dry hop additions of Cashmere, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Motueka give large bursts of Citrus, Melon and Candied Tropical Fruits to make Swamp Tings a deliciously juicy and Essential NEIPA.

A: The beer is murky yellow in color. It poured with a finger high off white head that has very good retention properties and hardly died down and also left thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of spicy and herbal hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of melon, the latter of which become a bit stronger as the beer warms up. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, crisp and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes more like a hybrid between an IPA and a NEIPA - you need to really let it warm up to let the melon flavors develop. The taste has a nice amount of complexity among the flavors.

2d review, 1st of this brewer.
I'm a fan of NJ Metro beers which includes NYC where I work. This one looks great, but finishes mid pack.
NEIPA with Motueka, Wakatu, and Citra, ABV 7.1%.
a) Looks great with a totally opaque apricot body and creamy head that sheets lace in an almost creamy, alien way.
s) Too faint.
t) Apricot and more in the papaya and melon direction. Balanced and creamy in flavor as well as texture.
f) Creamy, cleans up nicely, slight funk in aftertaste.
o) Great effort.

Hazy IPA brewed with Motueka, Wakatu, and Citra hops. ABV 6.3-7.1% depending on batch.
On-draught @ Flagship:
Candied tropical fruit (melon, tangerine, papaya), fruity esters from the ale yeast, and a blip of rindy bitterness. Less sweet than many hazy IPAs brewed in New York City, which is to say it's more balanced.
Hop pungency and depth of flavour are wanting, but it's not a bad brew by any stretch.
Not a beer I'd buy a sixer of, but it's worth trying once.
High C+ (3.25) / ABOVE AVERAGE
