Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with thick tan head that slowly fades away.
Aroma is vegetal pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon and clove, roughly in that order. The vegetal pumpkin aroma fades with time, as the spices come more to the forefront, with nutmeg still dominating. I can't smell any coffee over the spices, and there's too much nutmeg and too much of the vegetal pumpkin aroma for my tastes.
It tastes milder than it smells, with the spices at the forefront, though now the coffee comes out. Nutmeg still rather overwhelms everything else. There's a pleasant creaminess on the finish.
Overall, it's okay. It's not the worst pumpkin spice latte ale I've had, but it's far from the best. I would have liked to see the spices reigned in a bit - particularly the nutmeg, which is really strong - and more coffee flavor to balance out the spices. I wouldn't get this one again. Flying Dog's and Black Hog Brewing's pumpkin spice latte beers are both strictly better, imo, so I would seek those out instead.

A: The beer is black when viewed from afar; when held up to bright light there are dark reddish hues near the bottom of the glass. It poured with a quarter finger high beige colored head that died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of pumpkins and are present in the nose along with notes of lactose and hints of cinnamon.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of cold brew coffee and hints of cocoa nibs.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer does a very good job at combining the aspects of both a pumpkin ale and a latte.

Just picked up a six pack of this from a 7/11. As a Staten Islander and a pumpkin beer fan i am very excited to tru this beer. 12 ounce can poured heavily into a Goblet... Look- Pours a very deep orange almost brown color with a two and a half finger tan head. Looks very nice. Pretty much just the way a pumpkin coffee beer should look. Smell- The smell is very good and it gives me high hopes for the beer. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spices, slight chocolate and of course some coffee. Taste- Not bad. To me it’s a little too spice forward and a little watery for a beer with a 5.5 abv coffee beer. I just wish that the coffee flavor was a little more forward so the spices would complement it better. I fell that if they made an imperial version of this it has the potential to be a top tier pumpkin beer. Feel- Light bodied. Not too carbonated. No feel of any alcohol. Not too much of a coffee feel. Overall- This is a decent seasonal pumpkin beer. I’m very happy a local brewery is putting this out. It is worth a try. My only gripe is that i wish the abv was a little higher with some more coffee flavors to even out the spices. I recommend everyone give it a shot .
