"We grew up loving Superior Chocolate."
—Flagship's co-founders Matt and Jay
Mike Katsoris, grandson of Superior's founder jumped on the opportunity to collar with SI's growing legend, Flagship Brewery.
We crafted an unforgettable version of the American Classic - Cream Ale. Our interpretation is perfect for spring-time in Staten Island. We brewed this creamy, balanced ale with the finest hops, real vanilla and fresh cocoa nibs.
We think you'll love our spin on this American Classic, Superior Cream Ale!

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that left a short head covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of cocoa nibs and vanilla are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, creamy and somewhat smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite malty but isn't that heavy on the palate, making it easy to drink. The aromas and flavors of chocolate and vanilla add some complexities to the smell and taste.
