I bought a can from LCBO on my way home from work on a September afternoon.
It pours a slightly cloudy golden colour and has a nice fluffy head that retains nicely throughout the pint. There’s not a huge aroma but the flavour is a very balanced smooth pint with a slightly bitter finish…but not too much.
This would be a definite moreish beer for a session…….if I had bought more than one.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 22 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a foggy medium golden colour, with half a finger of soapy, foamy white head situated atop; it recedes within ninety seconds or so, leaving behind a bubbly collar and filmy cap. Not a lot of lace deposition, but it still looks fine to me. It smells of lemon zest, grainy hops, grassy hay, and a touch of earthiness.
Clean-tasting, with grainy, bready pale malt sweetness and noble hop flavours comprising the bulk of the profile. Grassy hay, a touch of lemon zest with very mildly floral, earthy hop bitterness towards the tail end of the sip; light malts and earthiness linger into the aftertaste, albeit briefly. Light in body, with middling carbonation levels that feel a little prickly on the palate; crisp mouthfeel, with excellent drinkability, as I'd expect from a 4.4% lager.
Final Grade: 3.69, a B grade. Sunset Point is not necessarily an exemplary helles lager - it's a little too light IMO - but it tastes and smells 'German' to me, which is basically half the battle. Worth a look if you're looking for a lighter craft lager, or if you enjoy German-style lagers in general. Honestly, if an Ontario brewery can put out something with even a passing resemblance to quality German lager, I'm more or less satisfied with just that; too bad this one faces the same issue that all 'craft lagers' do: the German exports are usually cheaper and frequently better.

I bought a can today at the lcbo in Ontario 473ml at 4.4%.
poured a 2finger head into glass hazy golden color slow carbonation going up .
leaving a lace as you drink.
unfiltered Bavarian style lager .

I would say it's a light bitterness.
easy drinking
overall it's very refreshing and enjoyable to drink .
would buy again.
cheers.
