At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from the University Ave. West LCBO in nearby downtown Windsor. My first beer from the Collingwood, ON brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Oct 24 2022 and served slightly chilled. Fresh beer and a donation to a worthy cause - sounds like a win-win to me.
Pours a relatively clear sunny golden-blonde colour, with nearly an inch of smooth, foamy white head gathered atop. It lasts for three or four minutes, receding at a steady pace until only a tight collar and an islet of film remain, with a full coat of even lace draped onto the glass in the process. It smells of tangerine and tropical fruits: papaya, perhaps, with hints of fruity bubble gum, floral hops and a wisp of mintiness.
It's a pretty solid session ale - I'm tasting wheaty, almost crackery sweetness, with Mosaic and Sabro hop flavours flitting across the taste buds throughout the sip. Tangerine, apricot and peach, with hints of tropical fruit; finishes with some floral, mildly pithy hop bitterness that dissipates quickly, leaving behind an off-dry aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation; feels crisp and refreshing, but decidedly on the thin/watery side.
Final Grade: 3.79, a B+. Who's a good beer? Happy Tails is a good beer! Of course, the operative term here is 'good' - not exactly outstanding or amazing, but better than your average Ontario session IPA... or at least, it is in this extremely fresh state. I wouldn't go out of my way for more, but I'd consider buying it again - worth a try if you have any interest in session IPAs, or lighter pale ales in general.
