On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Brockport, NY.
This one pours a dark brown, with a half inch white head, and a little bit of lacing.
Doesn't smell like a whole lot, a bit of black bread, some nuttiness, and a little bit of caramel.
This is certainly sessionable, but not all that interesting, unfortunately. It feels pretty watery, tastewise, and not super bold, even for a 4% ABV beer. It has some steely and bready flavors, and a bit of caramel, but not much else.
This is light bodied, with a somewhat watery mouthfeel, and a higher level of carbonation.
This doesn't taste bad, it's just not all that interesting, unfortunately.
