On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours basically the same as the regular version of this DIPA, pale orange, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells really strongly of earthy and slightly sweet cucumber, very fresh and refreshing smelling. I like it, and I don't even really like cucumber. There's the grassiness of the regular, and some orange and grapefruit.
It's kind of perplexing how well the addition of cucumber worked for this one. The cucumber is very earthy and refreshing. The IPA is still well established underneath the infusion, with some zesty citrus fruit, grassiness, and pine. This works well.
This is medium bodied, with a juicy and refreshing mouthfeel. This is strangely drinkable, due to how refreshing it is.
I was really surprised that I liked this one. But I did.
