On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Brockport, NY.
This one pours a dark black, with a quarter inch foamy long-lasting head, and not a lot of lacing.
This smells like cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, spicy rye graininess, and a little bit of coffee.
This is a really solid rye porter. The ABV is big and burly, with a ton of chocolate malt flavor, rich, dark and slightly sweet, balanced by a bitterness from the roasted malt, and some peppery and earthy spiciness from the rye. Really nicely constructed here.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, slightly grainy, very drinkable.
Another great beer from these guys, best brewery in the Rochester area.
