On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Brockport, NY.
This one pours a dark amber brown, with an off-white head, about half an inch, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells very typically pumpkin ale-like, but well done. Pumpkin flesh, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, with some caramel too.
This is basically everything you want a pumpkin ale to be. The body doesn't give away that this beer is only 6% ABV- it feels much heftier and weightier. There's a good base behind the pumpkin and the spicing, meaty and bready, with some caramel, toffee, and vanilla, with all the typical pumpkin spices, and actual roasted pumpkin flavor. Well done.
This is medium bodied, rich and a bit thick in the mouthfeel, with a moderate level of carbonation.
Another winner from the guys at Stoneyard.
