Pours black with a 1/4 inch tan head, which dissipates. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of molasses, coffee, chocolate.
Taste follows nose: Molasses, coffee, dark chocolate, toffee.
Full bodied, light carbonation. Dry, oily finish.
One of the best English Brown Ales.

Pours dark brown. Thick tan foam. Sweet toffee aroma. Wow! A huge bold sweet toffee flavor. Not too sweet. Slight bitter finish. Silky smooth. Best brown ale I've ever had.

On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Brockport, NY.
This one pours a dark, deep tawny brown, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells super caramelly, with toffee, chocolate, and brown sugar.
This is a pretty sweet brown ale, in a good way, with a good level of caramel, toffee, chocolate, and some mild toasty malt flavors. It's super drinkable, and reminiscent of a caramel chocolate bar.
This is medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation.
Another solid beer from Stoneyard. Not their best, but still cool to try.
