On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Brockport, NY.
This one pours a light amber brownish, slightly hazy, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like cocoa powder, toffee, hazelnut, caramel, and piney hops.
This is billed as a hoppy brown, but it's more brown than hoppy, which is fine, because the base brown ale is super delicious. There's a slight piney bitterness, with a rich malty goodness- lots of cocoa powder, hot chocolate like, with toffee, caramel, slight coffee roast, and sweet hazelnut. Rich and delicious.
This is medium bodied, and pretty creamy, with a moderate level of carbonation, maybe slightly low.
