Crowler purchased at McCann's Local Meats in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear but slightly hazy dark orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells like pine, sharp grass, grapefruit, and some orange.
This isn't quite as good as some of their stellar hoppy beers, but it's still a winner in my book. It's got a slightly harsh bitterness, with juicy grapefruit, and a really clean finish. It's simple, and by the books, but a well done pale ale.
This is medium bodied, with a crisp and fairly biting mouthfeel, along with a normal level of carbonation- it's about a 4 day old crowler- held up well.
This is another solid brew from my favorite local brewery- but not their best.
