On tap at McCann's Local Meats in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden orange-ish yellow, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This one smells very sweet and fruity, strawberry, pear, apple juice, and simple syrup.
This doesn't exactly scream IPA, but it's still pretty tasty- for about 5 oz or so. It's intensely sweet, fruity, and syrupy. The finish is akin to the sugary syrup at the bottom of the fruit cup. The quince itself is tasty- I've never had it before, but it reminds me of strawberry jam, pear, and apple juice, maybe a bit of grape, too. This is a very good fruit beer but not the best if you look at it as an IPA.
This is pretty rich, and syrupy in the mouthfeel, with a norma level of carbonation. The booze is pretty well hidden, you wouldn't know it's 10.9%.
It's definitely not my favorite Stoneyard IPA, but it definitely wins points for uniqueness.
