On tap at Stoneyard Craft Beer Hall and Grill in Webster, NY.
This one pours a clear burnt orange color, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells pretty bracingly hoppy, lots of dank grassiness and pine, and just a hint of grapefruit.
This another awesome Oz bomb. Somehow, it's not boozy-feeling at all, which is incredible, given the ABV. It's very dank, and very bitter, quite classically West Coast in style and execution. A friend drinking it with me described it as a sort of Double Enjoy By, which really makes sense to me- it tastes like an amplified version of the best batches of that beer. There's just a hint of malt character on the back end, not too much, keeping it crisp, but partially balanced.
This is medium bodied, very crisp, and not syrupy at all- which is a homerun given the ABV on it.
I continue to be super impressed by Stoneyard's IPAs. They make some of the best in NYS, for sure.
