On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy, very murky, completely opaque dull orange, with no head or lacing.

This smells like pure juice- honestly, not like beer. There's mango and pineapple and orange, but barely any beer flavors.

I usually love this brewery, but this tastes like a failed home brew attempt at a NE style IPA. It's might be sacrilege to some, but it's honestly too juicy. There's barely any actual beer flavors, and it tastes bit grainy. It's 6%, but it drinks bigger than that- it's kinda grainy- so it drinks bigger in a bad way.

This is medium bodied, not super highly carbonated, and drinks like pure juice.

This is not Stoneyard's best. Their other IPAs are far superior.

A glistening white foam holds one and a half inches before receding and becoming lighter and looser. The beer is densely foggy, with a golden mango hue. Pale yellow highlights on the edges (SRM 2-4). A thick, dense lace coats the Strangebird IIPA glass.

The aroma is big and pronounced, with the creamy orange and mango of a Creamsicle. Warmth brings out pineapple and faint pine.

The flavor is inverted from the aroma. Pineapple juice is followed by pine, then light orange and only a hint of mango. The bitterness is within the range I expect, however, it is far more pronounced than the aroma had suggested. The finish is long, bold and pleasant.

The body is medium to light, with a nylon texture and prickly carbonation. Alcohol is as expected. Astringency is light and the bitterness has a numbing effect.

This beer is quite tasty fresh and at cooler temperatures. While still good as it warms, it clearly diminishes. After a month, it still holds up, although it is noticeably not quite as good.

It's hazy. It's hoppy. It's interesting and I guess nonsensical. Not a distinguished taste but enjoyable none the less
