Appearance - dark brown colour with thin tan head

Smell - this is really good - chocolate, vanilla, almond

Taste - much like the aroma - chocolate, almonds, vanilla, melted chocolate ice cream

Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet upfront with the chocolate, finish has the almonds and vanilla.

Overall - this is a delicious beer, lives up to the namesake. Good flavors of chocolate, almond and vanilla. Tastes just like good melted chocolate ice cream. Glad to have tried this. My only quibble with this one is that the mouthfeel is slightly thin, otherwise this is great.

Gifted a can. As advertised; maybe not enough almond. Silky and delicious. Would love to try on tap.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a nice fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells awesome - chocolate fudge, almond cream, slight roast, and vanilla.

The taste isn't quite as bold as the aroma, but it's still really nice. I want more almond for sure, but that candy melted custard taste is definitely there, strong and tasty. There's a touch of roasty bitterness, and a bit of vanilla taste.

This is very creamy, but not super thick, with a great level of drinkability. Though it's not thick, I'd hardly call it thin. It's very drinkable.

This is one of the better Stoneyard beers I've had in a while. Hopefully this represents a bit of an upswing for them.
