This one pours a light orange and slightly hazy color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like melted ice cream, honey, almond cream, vanilla frosting, and just straight sugar.
This is pretty tasty, but also extremely sweet. It nails the flavors intended here well, as you get it all. The almond is somewhat dominant here, creamy, sweet, and nutty, along with melted vanilla ice cream, and general sweetness reminiscent of honey and molasses.
There's not a ton of indication that this is actually a cream ale here, but it drinks decently well, with a creamy and silky mouthfeel to it. It's still a slow sipper due to the high level of sweetness.
I couldn't drink very much of this, due to the sweetness. It's a better beer to share, for sure.
