The contents of one pint can fits comfortably inside a clear glass liter mug. The pour brings only a modest, yet enduring white head. It sits above an orange-amber colored liquid thats dark, opaque, but on the bright side. There's certainly strawberry to smell and it's tart. There's also some starchiness which seems to carry some vanilla notes. The first hit is both sweet and tart and it's very pleasant. So this might not be everyone's idea of a good beer, but it sure manages to get close to its intended target. Somehow, this drinks like a strawberry shortcake tastes, just with a little more tartness. So, it's not too sweet, it's certainly not too sour and it's not too sticky with the mouthfeel. No ingredients are listed, so a guess is there could be some, certainly not too much, lactose in the mix. Behind the strawberry flavor is some other tastes reminiscent of vanilla cake. So this brings a few layers to taste. One is definitely not the alcohol, the taste of which is even more absent than the glass lacing. Look, this is exactly what it claims to be. If fruity pastry sours aren't to your liking, you won't like this. But, you wouldn't have been lied to or otherwise deceived. Probably not a beer to have frequently, or even make a night of, but this makes a great change of pace.

Tastes just like the name! Easy drinking being more tart than sour and a lot of strawberry taste to it and a touch of sweetness as well. Super tasty!
