Pours almost clear, honey gold, with occasional tiny, lazy bubbles. A brief, one-eighth inch of fine off-white head flashes over before leaving a ring of wispy fog on a double walled pint glass. The second pour was more vigorous, and produced a big, long-lasting head that left a combination of rings and fine strings of lace.
The sweetness is creamy and very obviously from the cannoli. This is followed by an upsetting light grain. The initial aroma is more like cream soda than beer. There is little else to report.
The flavor similarly is like a cream ale, with light bitterness that starts pleasantly before hitting an off note in the finish. The sweetness is short of cloying, yet quite high with the cannoli cream flavors. The finish, as noted previously, is unpleasant and, sadly, very prominent between sips.
A medium body with a slick texture. Alcohol is below expectations. Carbonation is soft, almost faint. The finish has an acrid and light metallic touch.
This beer is all over the place. While it does seem to have a cream ale base, the cannoli gimmick either falls short, or brings unfortunate baggage. I do see how this could be very pleasant as a dessert beer, however, as it is today, it is a miss.

Pours a pale gold. Light foam. Light sweet aroma. Super sweet cannoli body. Silky smooth. Sweetness fades somewhat. Not bad if you like cannolis and sweet beer.
