Notes via stream of consciousness: I'll admit that my wife made me buy this beer, and insisted that I drink it with her but it's the only thing I've got cold and she's not here so here goes... it's cloudy golden in color beneath a massive head of rocky antique-white foam that doesn't seem to want to settle down. Now I wait... OK. I can smell pineapple and vanilla, and what seems like grapefruit rind. On to the taste, wow, you can really taste the vanilla! The pineapple's there too but it's not as strong. On that note, how strong is this? Just 7%, that works, and I also notice that the label reads "NO LACTOSE". That's a good thing because I think with that much vanilla flavor it would be too much. Not that lactose is sweet, because it's one of the least sweet sugars, but it does lend to mouthfeel and give the impression that something's sweeter than it is. So does vanilla. So what else is there? The malt is basic and lightly sweet. I'm getting citrus but not with any specific fruit notes. Lemon, orange, and grapefruit would be my picks if I had to call them out. And of course there is that pineapple. My wife would not have liked this beer because of those citrusy hop notes; I think she thought it was going to be more of a "pastry beer". It's moderately bitter and it finishes with the vanilla lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied on the higher end, and gently crisp and smooth with a fine-bubbled median carbonation. The head retention and lacing are both great. So is it a pastry beer? I kind of think it is. It would make a good dessert beer, it's just got some extra citrusy hops added in.

Claims Vanilla Pineapple twist All Citra IPA.
Had on tap at Jack’s.
Creamy head on a soft gold body.Hint of Apricot orangish.
Nice vanilla pineapple nose with some citric hoppiness. Pleasant.
Flavor started out very pleasant Citra lightly enhanced by the vanilla. However as drank more and beer lost its chill the vanilla and pineapple sweetness really took over. By end of beer it was definitely creamsicle like.Probably spot on for those who like sweet dessert-like IPAs or Shmoogees… but definitely not for me.
Body was a nice medium carbonation in a smooth body.
Overall a nicely made beer, but my mistake for misunderstanding intent I guess.
Update: Saw same beer in cans and clearly states Creamsicle intent.
So my bad.
